Senior ICT Specialist

About the role

The Senior ICT Specialist will lead and manage the technology platforms that support the organisation's commercial operations, including retail stores, point‑of‑sale systems and ERP applications. The role ensures availability, performance, security and continuous improvement of these critical systems while supporting new store openings.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, support and continuously improve ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Sage Evolution.
• Manage all commercial ICT systems to guarantee high availability, reliability and optimal performance across retail operations.
• Lead ICT delivery for new store openings, relocations and retail technology deployments.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Azure and Microsoft 365 services, ensuring secure identity and cloud resource management.
• Design, develop and maintain Power Platform solutions (PowerApps, Power Automate) to automate business processes.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports and database solutions on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Participate in ICT projects, including ERP implementations, upgrades, system enhancements and digital transformation initiatives.
• Manage ICT budgets, vendors and third‑party service providers, ensuring projects stay within scope, budget and service‑level agreements.
• Ensure compliance with ICT governance, cybersecurity standards, business continuity and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and support to ICT team members and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with proven senior‑level responsibility.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate are a plus.
• Experience delivering ICT solutions for retail environments and new store roll‑outs.
