Senior Project Lead – HIV & SRHR Programme (Zambia)

About the role
The Senior Project Lead will provide overall technical and programme leadership for the EKN HIV Instrument Project in Zambia, ensuring high‑quality, community‑led delivery of HIV prevention and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services for Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW).
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual work plans and operational priorities for the Zambia EKN project.
- Lead implementation readiness, mobilisation and execution of project activities through m2m’s peer‑led model.
- Establish comprehensive service packages, SOPs and algorithms to guarantee high‑quality AGYW, AYP, HIV prevention and SRHR service delivery.
- Integrate AGYW interventions covering HIV prevention, SRHR, GBV response, psychosocial support, retention in care and referral pathways.
- Strengthen linkages between community platforms, health facilities, schools and protection services.
- Monitor quality, youth‑friendly access and retention, and take corrective actions when gaps are identified.
- Lead the preparation and timely submission of donor progress reports in line with branding and visibility guidelines.
- Coordinate across implementation sites, technical functions and support teams to ensure alignment with national priorities and donor commitments.
Required profile
- Proven senior‑level experience in leading health‑related projects, preferably in HIV prevention and SRHR.
- Strong background in working with government stakeholders, implementing partners and local communities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources, budgets and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience delivering community‑led, rights‑based, gender‑responsive programmes for vulnerable AGYW.
