Service Technician

About the role

The Service Technician provides technical support for LiuGong heavy‑duty equipment, handling assembly, commissioning, inspection, maintenance and repair. Working closely with dealer service teams, you will ensure compliance with technical, quality and safety standards while delivering on‑site customer service and warranty coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Guide machine assembly and safe loading/unloading with dealer teams; conduct incoming inspections, pre‑delivery inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of yard stock machines, manage storage, cleaning, lubrication and movement within the yard.
• Visit customer sites for fault diagnosis, emergency breakdown support, preventive maintenance and warranty repairs according to LiuGong policy.
• Prepare accurate service, inspection, commissioning and warranty reports; update work orders and warranty cases in the Dealer Management System.
• Execute all tasks in line with technical, quality and safety policies; maintain tools, diagnostic devices and service vehicles; attend training and share best practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Heavy‑equipment or related field; technical certification is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on service experience with construction, mining or agricultural heavy‑duty equipment.
• Proven experience in machine assembly, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and field service, preferably within a dealer network or OEM environment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, transmission and electronic diagnostic systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, electrical diagrams and hydraulic schematics; proficient in MS Office.
