Superintendent – Contracts

About the role

The Superintendent – Contracts will lead the Contracts function for Kansanshi Mining Plc, ensuring commercial discipline, supplier performance and contract coverage across the mining, processing and smelting operations. Reporting to the Manager Commercial, this senior position drives transformation within the Commercial team.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and develop the Contracts team to maintain high capability and performance standards.
• Maintain strategic and critical supplier contracts, ensuring full coverage and timely renewal.
• Draft, negotiate and enforce high‑quality supplier contracts.
• Provide commercial advice and build strong relationships with key heads of department.
• Identify and implement contract process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Monitor contracting processes, flagging risks and issues early.
