Talent Acquisition Specialist (General Worker Focus)

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead the recruitment of front‑line workers for a manufacturing operation, ensuring a steady supply of labour to meet production targets. This on‑site role requires close collaboration with the employee‑relations team and a deep understanding of the local Zambian labour market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute manpower recruitment plans, handling the full recruitment cycle for blue‑collar staff.
• Conduct face‑to‑face interviews, screen candidates, and manage all entry documentation.
• Build and maintain recruitment channels such as labour agencies, community networks and local job boards.
• Track daily recruitment metrics, streamline on‑site processes and ensure compliance with Zambian labour laws.
• Support daily workforce management and coordinate with employee‑relations on staffing issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in manufacturing or blue‑collar environments.
• Proven ability to conduct mass on‑site recruitment in Zambia.
• Strong communication and screening skills to meet urgent staffing needs.
• Basic knowledge of local labour legislation and document management.
• Highly responsible, resilient and adaptable to factory floor conditions.
• Fluent English; prior experience in an African factory is a plus.
