Warehouse Officer

About the role

The Warehouse Officer will be based at BIA's Lumwana site in Zambia, handling the receipt, storage, and dispatch of machine parts and other goods. The role ensures that incoming and outgoing items are processed accurately and delivered to internal and external customers on time and in good condition.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily purchase and sales orders both physically and administratively.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, and prepare outgoing shipments.
• Maintain accurate stock records and provide feedback on inventory issues.
• Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety guidelines.
• Interact with internal and external customers at the warehouse counter.
• Distribute incoming goods to workshop areas for mechanics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, International Trade or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of logistics processes.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Required skills

• SAP (MM, WM) for purchase order creation, receipt follow‑up and stock consultation.
