About the role

The Civil Service Commission, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, is inviting qualified Zambian health professionals to apply for 2,600 health worker positions for the year 2026. Candidates will be placed in districts of their choice to deliver essential health services across the country.

Key responsibilities

Provide clinical and public health services in the assigned district.
Collaborate with local health teams and authorities to improve health outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to professional standards.
Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs.

Required profile

Zambian citizen with a valid National Registration Card.
Age between 18 and 45 years.
Full Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
Relevant professional qualification from a recognized institution.
Registered and licensed by the appropriate professional regulatory body where applicable.
Unemployed in the civil service at the time of application.
