Associate, HIV Access & Health Systems Integration

About the role

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking an Associate to support HIV access and health‑systems integration in Zambia. The role will contribute to the implementation of a Technical Assistance roadmap developed with the Ministry of Health, focusing on transitioning from donor‑dependent service delivery to sustainable, government‑led systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivering technical assistance aligned with the Ministry of Health’s prioritized roadmap.
• Support analysis of health‑sector gaps and help design interventions to strengthen service delivery.
• Coordinate with CHAI partners, government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of activities.
• Monitor and document progress of integration initiatives, preparing regular reports for internal and external audiences.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing efforts, capturing lessons learned for broader application.

Required profile

• University degree in public health, health policy, international development, or a related field.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in health‑systems strengthening, especially in low‑ and middle‑income settings.
• Familiarity with HIV programs and the challenges of service delivery in resource‑constrained environments.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to evolving priorities.
