Associate & Senior Associate – East & Southern Africa

About the role

IDinsight is seeking high‑performing early‑career professionals to join its Associate and Senior Associate team covering Kenya and Zambia. You will work on evidence‑informed decision‑making projects, gaining hands‑on experience in research, data collection, analysis, and client engagement across diverse development sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project team workflow, systems, and deliverables, ensuring day‑to‑day execution aligns with project plans.
• Design research, oversee data collection, conduct technical analysis, and create visualizations and result packages.
• Produce client deliverables such as reports, slide decks, and presentations to inform decisions.
• Develop strategic communications to raise awareness of IDinsight projects and contribute to sectoral knowledge.
• Support client relationship building, prepare talking points, and present findings.
• Lead data collection activities, including questionnaire development, sampling, team management, and quality assurance.
• Travel to project sites, IDinsight offices, and client locations as required.
• Contribute to internal team building, system development, and organizational culture initiatives.
