Construction Superintendent – Housing (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Construction Superintendent – Housing will lead the delivery of the Manyama Employee Housing Development and the Kamisengo RAP Housing Development for Lumwana Mining Company. Reporting to the Project Manager – LEP, you will oversee all civil and municipal infrastructure works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for planning, coordination, execution, monitoring and close‑out of housing and supporting infrastructure construction activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary civil works including bulk earthworks, roads, storm‑water and water reticulation, sewer systems, treatment plants and utility services.
• Develop and maintain integrated project execution strategies, construction schedules, resource plans and milestone tracking systems.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers, overseeing performance, contractual compliance, claims and variations.
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations and external stakeholders.
• Drive construction quality through QA/QC implementation, inspection and test plans, material compliance and defect management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to safety, quality, cost, schedule, constructability, logistics and environmental compliance.
• Lead project governance activities including budgeting, cost‑benefit analysis, change management and reporting.
