Depot Financial Manager

About the role

The Depot Financial Manager is a mid‑level position within the Finance & Accounts Department, responsible for the full record‑to‑report cycle, financial analysis, and compliance. The role ensures the financial integrity of the organization while supporting business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports and budgets.
• Record financial transactions accurately in line with accounting standards.
• Reconcile accounts, review general‑ledger entries and resolve discrepancies to produce accurate trial balances.
• Support financial planning, forecasting and budget tracking for decision makers.
• Perform variance analysis and recommend improvements.
• Assist internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain all financial records, documentation and oversee the depot finance team.
• Handle cash, banking activities and related reconciliations.
• Manage stock handling procedures, physical verifications and monitor stock movements.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives within Finance & Accounts.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities according to group timelines.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, internal policies and tax obligations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Effective communication, teamwork and staff‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial software.
