Digital Transformation & Business Technology Manager

About the role

The Digital Transformation & Business Technology Manager will lead the modernization of business operations at Prudential Life Assurance Zambia. Acting as a bridge between IT and core business functions, the role focuses on deploying digital tools such as AI, mobile applications, and automation to improve efficiency, user experience, and strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate digital tools (mobile apps, AI, enterprise platforms) into business processes to boost productivity.
• Lead deployment of business systems, applications, and digital platforms across departments.
• Modernise business processes and operating models in line with group standards.
• Identify and champion digital innovation opportunities, including AI, automation, and mobile solutions.
• Maintain and review technology policies, recommending process efficiencies.
• Ensure software development standards are embedded in all system development and deployment.
• Provide quality assurance and oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Assess and manage technology security risks, embedding security best practices.
• Participate in business case preparation and end‑to‑end project tracking.

Required profile

• Proven experience bridging IT and business functions, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong leadership in digital transformation initiatives.
• Ability to drive technology adoption across multiple departments.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
