Distribution Driver (X4) – Beverage Delivery

About the role

Join a leading beverage company as a Distribution Driver (X4) and be responsible for delivering beer and soft‑drink orders to customers and internal plants. You will ensure timely deliveries, secure cash collections, and maintain the vehicle in excellent condition while representing the brand professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver beer and soft‑drink orders to customers and other ZB plants according to schedules or ad‑hoc requests.
• Collect funds from sales, deposit cash with the cashier immediately, and complete settlement reports.
• Ensure customers pay on delivery and record all payment details.
• Maintain the truck’s cleanliness, complete pre‑trip check sheets, and report any defects.
• Hook and unhook trailers as required and oversee truck sweeping by the assistant.
• Escalate issues beyond your control to the distribution controller promptly.
• Brief customers on company updates, record complaints or suggestions, and advise on payment procedures.
• Track fuel, lubricants, and vehicle movements; follow preventative maintenance schedules and log any vehicle problems.

Required profile

• Communicative, dynamic, and responsible with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Grade 12 certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence and defensive driving certificate.
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Ability to work sober and maintain a safety‑first mindset.
