Driver Trainer – Huntley Farm

About the role

Zambeef Products PLC is seeking an enthusiastic Driver Trainer to join its Huntley Farm operations. The role involves delivering practical driving lessons, ensuring compliance with road regulations, and supporting the safety culture across the logistics team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver practical driving lessons tailored to all aspects of vehicle operation.
• Instruct drivers on vehicle parts, functions, and on‑road regulations.
• Document driver progress, maintain training records, and report accidents to the Logistics and Workshop Manager.
• Assist the Logistics Manager in selecting and hiring new drivers.
• Conduct weekly toolbox meetings and post‑accident behind‑the‑wheel re‑training.
• Update driver training manuals and safety meeting materials under guidance of the Environmental Safety Manager.
• Drive routes or field trips as required and supervise assigned drivers daily.

Required profile

• GCE/12 Certificate (Grade) or equivalent.
• Basic driving licence and a valid licence for the level being taught.
• Valid Driving Instructor’s licence or certification.
• Proven experience as a driving instructor with a clear driving record.
