Electro-Mechanical Technician – Telemetry & Communication Systems

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician specialized in telemetry and communication systems. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing complex electro‑mechanical equipment that keeps our communication infrastructure running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission radio, satellite, fiber‑optic and network equipment according to technical specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration and functional testing to ensure continuous operation.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and software faults using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters and network testers.
• Execute repairs, component replacements, soldering, wiring and mechanical assembly/disassembly, as well as software updates.
• Interpret engineering schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams and technical manuals to carry out tasks accurately.
• Document all activities, parts used and system configurations in a CMMS.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other technicians to improve system reliability.
• Follow OSHA, RF safety and other regulatory guidelines; provide training and on‑call support as needed.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical principles.
• Hands‑on experience with communication technologies and telemetry equipment.
• Ability to read and work from technical documentation.
• Commitment to safety standards and teamwork.
