Finance Officer

About the role

Codirect Courier and Fulfillment Center is seeking a competent and detail‑oriented Finance Officer to join its Lusaka team. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Prepare financial reports and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end financial processes.
• Perform any other finance‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum Grade A in Mathematics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with at least Upper Second Class Honours (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
