Fleet Manager

About the role

The Fleet Manager will lead driver management and performance across our transport operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role supports driver development, monitors key performance indicators and drives continuous improvement in fleet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Set and monitor driver KPIs such as transit times, speed violations and convoy management.
• Maintain driver profiles and ensure compliance with company SOPs, RTSA regulations and cross‑border requirements.
• Supervise driver behaviour, coordinate training and enforce company standards.
• Keep accurate, up‑to‑date driver records.
• Implement discipline and performance monitoring systems.
• Lead driver retention initiatives and promote engagement.
• Uphold high safety standards across all driver operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years proven experience in logistics or fleet management, including team supervision.
• Diploma in Logistics or a related field.
• Membership with the Zambia Institute of Transport and Logistics.
• Previous experience as a truck driver is an advantage.
• Must be 30 years of age or older.
