Graphics Designer (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

Tonse, a tech startup dedicated to empowering Zambian youth through technology, innovation, and opportunity, is looking for a freelance Graphics Designer to work remotely from Lusaka. In this role you will help visualise our platform, training programmes and impact‑driven initiatives, ensuring that every visual piece reflects our purpose‑first innovation and commitment to building a digital Africa for everyone.

Key responsibilities

• Design visual assets for Tonse’s digital platform, training modules, social media and marketing communications.
• Collaborate with product, content and community teams to create graphics that align with Tonse’s brand, core values and impact goals.
• Produce high‑quality designs on a freelance, remote basis while meeting project timelines and delivering revisions as needed.

Required profile

• Creative mindset with a passion for social impact and technology.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with distributed teams.
