Human Resources Officer

About the role

The Human Resources Officer will act as a bridge between corporate strategy and day‑to‑day hotel operations. Reporting to both the HR Manager and the Chief Executive Officer, you will manage the employee lifecycle across multiple properties while providing data‑driven insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment for property‑level staff and mid‑management, using hospitality‑specific channels.
• Design and deliver onboarding programmes that embed the brand’s guest‑service standards.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee relations issues, conduct investigations and ensure compliance with local labour laws.
• Coordinate annual performance review cycles and support development plans.
• Maintain the HRIS, oversee time‑and‑attendance data and prepare payroll‑ready files.
• Compile monthly HR metrics dashboards for the CEO, tracking turnover, labour cost percentages and time‑to‑hire.
• Lead group‑wide engagement initiatives and support succession planning for future hotel openings.
• Assist the CEO with confidential restructuring projects, executive compensation benchmarking and sensitive communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management or Business Administration.
• 3‑5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in the hospitality sector.
• Proven ability to balance operational tasks from the HR Manager with strategic requests from the CEO.
• Deep understanding of hotel operations, 24/7 shift patterns and seasonal staffing needs.
