Import & Export Documentation Specialist

About the role

The Import & Export Documentation Specialist ensures that all trade paperwork is accurate, compliant, and processed efficiently. You will act as the central point for managing import/export documents, supporting customs clearance, and coordinating with logistics partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and archive import/export documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
• Maintain daily business sheets and import/export ledgers, guaranteeing timely and precise data tracking.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping agencies to monitor logistics and customs clearance progress.
• Assist in reviewing, presenting, and following up on Letters of Credit (L/C) to ensure secure and timely payment settlement.
• Handle customs clearance or transport anomalies promptly and support other administrative and ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in International Trade, Logistics, Business English, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in customs clearance, dealerships, or logistics, preferably within structured, established companies.
• Proficient reading and writing skills in English for handling business emails and international documentation.
• Highly detail‑oriented, diligent, quick learner with strong communication abilities and an outgoing personality.
• Good personal integrity and a clean background.
