IT Audit Senior – Technology Risk

About the role

EY’s Technology Risk practice is looking for an IT Audit Senior to join client engagement teams serving Financial Services organisations. You will help assess, improve and evaluate business and IT processes, focusing on controls within complex IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform IT General Controls and Application Controls testing for financial services clients.
• Conduct data‑analytics reviews and support Service Organization Controls (SOC) reporting.
• Assist with third‑party risk management, software asset management and privacy‑related solutions.
• Plan and coordinate on‑site engagements, brief teams on client IT environments and industry trends.
• Develop work plans, risk assessments, timelines and supporting documentation.
• Oversee daily fieldwork progress to ensure high‑quality client service.
• Apply project‑management techniques and technology tools to improve efficiency and deliverable quality.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships and professional networks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, finance, business, computer science, engineering, commerce or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA (in progress or completed); additional certifications (CFE, CIPM, CIPP) are a plus.
• Minimum two years of experience in IT operations, IT audit, internal audit or internal controls.
• Experience in IT audit or technology risk within banking or financial services is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required.
