IT Officer

About the role

The IT Officer will oversee the firm’s technology environment, ensuring that infrastructure, security and data protection are robust and reliable. The role supports both day‑to‑day user needs and the assurance teams during audit engagements, contributing to efficient and secure business operations across all offices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the firm’s IT systems, networks and infrastructure.
• Implement and monitor regular data backup, recovery and protection processes.
• Oversee cybersecurity controls, respond to incidents and maintain antivirus protection.
• Provide technical support to users, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Assist assurance teams during audits by testing IT general and application controls such as user access, change management, backup and system configuration.
• Maintain system security, apply software updates and manage hardware inventories.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and ISQM requirements.
• Prepare IT reports and keep documentation up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT operations or support.
• Professional IT certifications are a plus.
• Experience supporting IT audits or assurance engagements is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
