Learning and Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, people‑focused Learning and Development Manager to lead employee growth in a fully remote environment. You will design, deliver and evaluate training programmes that close skill gaps and foster a culture of continuous learning across our global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with C‑level executives and department heads to identify skill gaps and align L&D initiatives with business objectives.
• Create engaging training curriculum, including e‑learning modules, virtual workshops and micro‑learning content for a distributed workforce.
• Lead and continuously improve the remote onboarding programme to ensure new hires feel welcomed and integrated.
• Oversee the Learning Management System, managing digital learning infrastructure and ensuring courses are accessible and tracked.
• Forecast, monitor and optimise the annual L&D budget and negotiate contracts with external training vendors.
• Analyse metrics, conduct skills audits and measure ROI of training initiatives, gathering learner feedback for continuous improvement.
• Partner with managers and HR to develop leadership training and career‑pathing frameworks that support talent retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a remote or distributed setting.
• Proven ability to manage, coach and evaluate teams virtually.
• Strong written, verbal and virtual presentation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with modern LMS platforms such as Docebo, Canvas or Absorb.
• Proficiency with e‑learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories, blended learning strategies and instructional design principles.
