Superintendent In Training And Development

About the role

The Superintendent in Training and Development will lead employee learning initiatives for Bantu Agency in Zambia. This full‑time, on‑site position designs, delivers and evaluates training programs that support the organization’s strategic goals and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments across departments.
• Develop and update training materials, workshops and coaching sessions.
• Facilitate onboarding, continuous development and skill‑building activities.
• Collaborate with HR and operational leaders to align learning with business objectives.
• Maintain accurate training records and monitor compliance with policies.
• Analyse training effectiveness using data and feedback, recommending improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing, delivering and evaluating training programs, preferably within HR or recruitment environments.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and adult‑learning expertise.
• Solid understanding of HR processes such as performance management and competency frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work across all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience in Zambia or similar contexts, with knowledge of local labor practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools and office software for creating training content and tracking outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
