Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage inventory, and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure smooth and efficient movement of goods. This role supports compliance with Zambian customs regulations, safety standards, and customer requirements while maintaining high inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain safe and organized warehouse layout and optimize space utilization.
• Conduct cycle counts, stock takes, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels, process stock movements, and generate inventory reports in SAP/ERP.
• Arrange local and international shipments with approved freight forwarders.
• Track shipments, provide updates to stakeholders, and resolve logistics issues.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with Zambian customs.
• Capture warehouse transactions, process goods receipts/issues, and support users with system queries.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales, procurement, finance, and operations teams.
• Knowledge of Zambian import/export procedures and customs documentation.
• Experience in warehouse and inventory management.
