Manager – Digital Forensics

About the role

The Manager – Digital Forensics will lead the Forensic Unit of the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA). Reporting to the Assistant Director of Investigations, the role supports tax compliance and prosecution by overseeing digital forensic investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor unit activities to meet set targets.
• Allocate tasks fairly, provide guidance on forensic analysis, and ensure staff participation in process improvement.
• Apply and maintain forensic laboratory procedures for acquisition, examination, analysis and presentation of evidence.
• Direct research, validation and adoption of new forensic techniques, tools and equipment.
• Liaise with ZRA officials and other government agencies to facilitate investigations.
• Monitor staff performance, identify development needs and report performance data.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or GCE with five credits including English and Mathematics.
• University degree in Computer Science, ICT or a related field.
• Minimum five years of post‑qualifying experience supervising digital forensics work.
• At least one vendor‑neutral and one vendor‑specific digital forensics certification.
• Licensed member of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).
