Market & Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Market & Data Analyst to turn market and competitor intelligence into actionable insights that support our strategic decisions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive forecasting, pricing, and performance reporting across domestic and export markets.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and synthesize market and competitor intelligence to inform strategy formulation and execution.
• Support monthly and weekly forecasting and demand planning activities.
• Monitor pricing and conduct margin analysis for both domestic and export markets.
• Own daily, weekly and monthly performance measurement and reporting at country and group level.
• Perform customer and segment analysis to guide strategic and tactical interventions.
• Develop and implement a robust data strategy, including automation and modelling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics or a related discipline (or equivalent).
• Full Grade 12 school certificate.
• Minimum of four to five years of relevant work experience.
• Basic understanding of trends, challenges, regulations and legislation in the cement manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of DCP’s product and service offerings.
• Strong administration skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
