Ministry Coordinator – Discipleship 2:7 Program

About the role

The Ministry Coordinator will lead a one‑year discipleship program (2:7) designed for pastors, aspiring pastors, lay leaders, and women in Zambia. This role blends program administration, mentorship, and cultural immersion to strengthen church leadership and community impact.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and administer all aspects of the 2:7 discipleship program.
• Participate in monthly PLD team planning, accountability meetings, and coordination with the PLD Coordinator.
• Meet regularly with the Zambian D‑2:7 Team Leader and facilitators for mentoring and program oversight.
• Manage financial support for participant transport and ensure budget compliance.
• Attend two weekly D‑2:7 group meetings to observe, give feedback, and assess facilitator development.
• Build relationships with participants, evaluate program impact, and identify candidates for ACTION Pastors College.
• Help plan, administer, and conduct program graduations and two annual seminars (60‑80 attendees each).
• Provide mentorship to pastors in ACTION Pastors College as needed.
• Lead fundraising initiatives for PLD ministries.

Required profile

• Committed disciple of Jesus Christ.
• Formal or informal training in philosophy and discipleship ministry strategies.
• Minimum three years experience in discipleship relationships with leaders and young Christians.
• At least three years experience leading a ministry team.
