Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Operations Manager to join our Lusaka office. The role will oversee day‑to‑day e‑commerce operations, including order processing, inventory control, logistics coordination and vendor management. You will monitor performance metrics, drive process improvements and implement scalable solutions to support our cross‑border growth.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach the operations team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Align operational processes with company policies and local regulations.
• Coordinate with customer service and technology teams to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.
• Oversee order processing, inventory management and logistics coordination across multiple markets.
• Prepare regular operational reports and manage the operations budget.
• Support strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven operations management experience with a focus on process optimization and performance monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience in inventory management, logistics coordination and supply‑chain processes within retail or e‑commerce.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities, including team supervision, coaching and conflict resolution.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics or a related field; e‑commerce or multi‑country retail experience is a plus.
