About the role

Cherry Hills International School is seeking a qualified and experienced Primary School Teacher to join its academic team in Rhodes Park, Lusaka. The successful candidate will deliver primary‑level instruction using the Cambridge Primary curriculum and uphold the school’s high academic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons following the Cambridge Primary curriculum.
• Plan lessons, manage the classroom and assess student progress.
• Maintain high academic standards in all teaching activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education from a recognised university.
• Valid Teaching Council of Zambia registration.
• Minimum of 2 years’ primary classroom teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of the Cambridge Primary curriculum.
• Excellent lesson‑planning, classroom‑management and assessment skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Traceable professional references.
