Procurement Coordinator – Renewable (Zambia)

About the role

The Zambia Procurement Coordinator (Renewable) will lead the end‑to‑end procurement process for One Acre Fund’s renewable initiatives in Zambia. You will ensure that goods and services are sourced efficiently, at best value, and delivered on time to support the organization’s agricultural programs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, monitor price trends and expand the supplier database to secure best value.
• Manage the full purchase cycle, including RFQs, supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation and coordination with finance for timely payments.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods, maintain accurate procurement documentation and provide proactive updates to internal stakeholders.
• Support procurement planning, improve processes, maintain the Zambia Vendor Catalog and perform quarterly audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or supply‑chain management, preferably in an agricultural or renewable‑energy context.
• Strong negotiation, market‑research and supplier‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with finance and program teams.
