About the role
The Procurement Manager will lead the development and implementation of a 1‑3 year sourcing and vendor management strategy for both operational and capital‑expenditure procurement. Working closely with the Group Procurement Manager and cross‑functional teams, the role ensures market‑competitive sourcing, contract compliance, and sustainable supplier relationships across the Group.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and institutionalise a 1‑3 year sourcing and vendor management strategy for operational and capex procurement.
- Set up sourcing and service level agreements for new stock suppliers and ensure 95%+ of operational sourcing uses agreed contracts.
- Analyse industry trends, identify supply‑base risks, and create contingency sourcing options.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, driving sustainability and SHREQ objectives.
- Oversee supplier reliability up to IFS warehouse or site delivery and monitor contract adherence.
- Plan and manage stock availability from source to consumption, supporting new site switch‑on.
- Lead the supply planning team to ensure stock availability at the right cost and quality.
- Introduce local‑content suppliers and ensure compliance with HSE, trade rules, and corporate governance SOPs.
