Procurement Officer – MRO Sourcing Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Officer – MRO Sourcing Specialist will support the procurement team in acquiring maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) spare parts essential for continuous production. The role focuses on ensuring timely, cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining high quality and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of all procured materials and services in line with operational requirements.
• Monitor and follow up on quality issues with suppliers, driving corrective actions.
• Develop, assess, and manage supplier resources based on cost, quality, delivery performance, and reliability.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as maintenance, operations, and finance to align procurement activities.
• Track purchase orders and proactively resolve delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, especially in MRO sourcing and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement; MRO (spare parts) sourcing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with ability to work across teams and with external suppliers.
• High level of responsibility, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
