Professional Land Surveyor

About the role

The Professional Land Surveyor will work on‑site in Lusaka, conducting land and topographic surveys for a variety of construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves collecting, analysing and presenting spatial data to support accurate design and build activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate total stations and other surveying instruments to capture precise measurements.
• Set out and verify building layouts, boundary lines and construction alignments.
• Prepare detailed survey plans, reports and as‑built drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and project managers to ensure survey data meets project standards.
• Maintain comprehensive survey records and ensure compliance with legal, safety and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional registration or eligibility for registration as a Land Surveyor is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to work in varying on‑site conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
