Project Contracts Administrator

About the role

The Project Contracts Administrator will manage the commercial and contractual aspects of technical construction projects, ensuring compliance with NEC, FIDIC and GCC contract conditions. Working closely with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager and site teams, the role safeguards the company’s interests throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage contracts, prepare and process subcontract and supplier agreements, and maintain registers for variations, early warnings, claims and correspondence.
• Support commercial and financial control by assisting in budgeting, cost tracking, cash‑flow monitoring, and processing subcontractor payment applications.
• Liaise with project, procurement and site teams to ensure contractual compliance, maintain organized documentation, and assist in project close‑out and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures and legal requirements, and support internal and external audit processes.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Law or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in contract administration or commercial management within construction, electrical or technical projects, with proven knowledge of NEC, FIDIC and GCC contracts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with project management or document control systems such as MS Project or SharePoint.
