Project Driver – BCPAP (Newborn Care)

About the role
The Project Driver will support the Better Care for Small and Sick Newborns in Zambia project by providing reliable road‑travel services for staff and visitors and ensuring that office and field vehicles are well‑maintained and operational.
Key responsibilities
- Drive office staff, project partners and other authorised visitors to project sites and meetings as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of all office and field vehicles.
- Monitor fuel consumption, reconcile fuel accounts and prepare related reports.
- Assist with routine vehicle checks, minor repairs and coordinate servicing when needed.
- Support procurement officer with vehicle‑related documentation and record‑keeping.
Required profile
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle types used.
- Proven experience driving office or field vehicles in a professional setting.
- Ability to keep accurate fuel and maintenance records.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
