Project Team Coordinator

About the role

Action Against Hunger is seeking a Project Team Coordinator to lead the ECHO‑funded integrated WASH, Health, and Nutrition project in Mantapala. The role provides strategic direction, ensures high‑quality implementation, and strengthens coordination with government, UN agencies, and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for integrated WASH‑Health‑Nutrition interventions, aligning with ECHO priorities and national policies.
• Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities, managing work plans, budgets, and procurement.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams, conduct performance management, and promote safeguarding compliance.
• Coordinate with Ministry of Health, UN agencies, and local partners; represent the organization in coordination platforms.
• Implement a robust MEAL system, ensuring data quality, analysis, and adaptive programming.
• Oversee technical integration of WASH, health, and nutrition components, including IPC and water system functionality.
• Manage financial compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and liaison with finance and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading integrated WASH, health, or nutrition projects in humanitarian settings.
• Strong knowledge of ECHO guidelines, gender, protection, and safeguarding standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and foster collaborative environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with government, UN agencies, and community partners.
• Experience implementing MEAL frameworks and ensuring data‑driven decision‑making.
