Recruitment Supervisor – Lead Hiring Operations

About the role
The Recruitment Supervisor will lead and coordinate all hiring activities for the company in Zambia, ensuring that staffing needs are met efficiently and in line with organisational policies. This role oversees staff recruitment, mass hiring, temporary labour sourcing, onboarding, and recruitment data management while supervising the recruitment team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment plans based on approved manpower requirements and business needs.
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for administrative, professional, technical and supervisory positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer follow‑up.
- Coordinate mass recruitment drives for production operators and general workers, monitoring workforce gaps and hiring timelines.
- Oversee temporary labour recruitment, liaise with labour agencies, track headcount, attendance and ensure data accuracy.
- Monitor onboarding processes, ensuring completion of documentation, contracts and timely integration of new hires.
- Maintain recruitment databases, prepare reports and provide data insights to management.
- Supervise and mentor the recruitment team, ensuring compliance with company policies and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven experience in recruitment coordination or supervision, preferably in an industrial or production environment.
- Strong understanding of staffing needs across multiple functions and ability to work closely with department managers.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a focus on meeting hiring deadlines.
- Ability to manage relationships with external labour agencies and recruitment service providers.
- Detail‑oriented approach to maintaining accurate recruitment records and reports.
