Regional Manager – Copperbelt

About the role

The Regional Manager will lead all logistics activities across the Copperbelt region, overseeing customs clearing, bonded warehousing, freight forwarding and transport services. Reporting to the Director, the role is responsible for the end‑to‑end performance of the region, including operations, commercial accounts and the regional P&L.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily clearing operations across Copperbelt offices and Zambian borders, managing pre‑alerts, entry processing, acquittals and removal‑in‑bond flows.
• Supervise and coordinate operations, finance and administration teams to ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversee bonded warehouse activities, including receipt, ex‑bonding, bin cards, customs ledgers and weighbridge records.
• Maintain minimum transit/RIB turnaround standards and drive corrective actions when needed.
• Support launch of new services and drive continuous improvement across the business.
• Grow freight forwarding revenue on road, sea and multimodal corridors.
• Develop and manage transport‑linked profit centres such as car carrier services and local distribution.
• Secure capacity, rates and service levels with transporters, shipping lines and agents.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities across customs clearing, warehousing, freight forwarding and project management.
• Maintain relationships with top‑level customers and ensure consistent communication.
