About the role
We are looking for a meticulous Legal Assistant to join our remote legal team. The role involves providing comprehensive administrative and legal support for cases under US or UK jurisdictions, ensuring high‑quality document preparation and case management.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, format and proofread legal documents such as motions, contracts, pleadings and correspondence.
- Organise and maintain physical and electronic case files, guaranteeing accurate archiving.
- Conduct legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw or PACER.
- Act as liaison between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel and court personnel.
- Manage legal calendars, schedule depositions, hearings and meetings.
- File documents with courts and government agencies in compliance with legal standards.
- Handle telephone calls, email correspondence and billing tasks.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal or legal secretary within US or UK law.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a Paralegal Certification.
- Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable high‑speed internet and uninterrupted power supply.

- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Legal management software.
- LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER research platforms.
