About the role
We are seeking a visionary Video Game Composer to craft dynamic, immersive scores that elevate our upcoming titles. Working remotely, you will define the sonic identity of our games, creating thematic material that supports narrative, characters, and environments.
Key responsibilities
- Compose and produce original high‑quality musical scores ranging from ambient environments to combat and cinematic themes.
- Develop adaptive music layers and stems that react to player actions and changing gameplay scenarios.
- Collaborate with narrative designers, producers, and sound designers to ensure music aligns with mood and pacing.
- Integrate musical assets into game engines and audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) ensuring seamless loops and transitions.
- Iterate quickly on musical ideas based on feedback and playtesting.
- Maintain organized asset libraries, exporting and labeling files according to technical specifications.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of professional experience composing music for video games with a diverse portfolio.
- Expert‑level proficiency with industry‑standard DAWs.
- Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine and audio middleware such as Wwise or FMOD.
- Strong knowledge of music theory, orchestration, and high‑quality virtual instrument libraries.
- Fully equipped home studio capable of delivering studio‑standard audio.
- Excellent virtual communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
