Sales and Marketing Lead – Business Development

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Lead will drive business growth by directing business development activities and managing client relationships in line with the company’s strategic objectives. You will work closely with senior executives to shape the vision, ensure profitability, and expand the market presence of our ICT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and refinement of the company’s vision and strategy.
• Support corporate decision‑making to maximise short‑, medium‑ and long‑term profitability.
• Liaise with executive heads to implement strategic and operational plans.
• Develop, review and report on the business development division’s strategy.
• Prospect new clients, identify decision‑makers, and arrange meetings with practice leaders.
• Plan pitches, develop proposals, price solutions and handle objections.
• Present new products and services, strengthen existing relationships, and collaborate with technical staff to meet customer needs.
• Attend industry events, gather market intelligence and advise senior management on trends.
• Identify target markets, analyse competitors, and create go‑to‑market strategies for ICT products.
• Design marketing campaigns that support business development efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales or an ICT‑related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in sales and marketing within the ICT sector.
• Proven experience working directly with customers.
• Strong analytical and report‑writing abilities.
