About the role

The Higher Education Authority (HEA) in Zambia is seeking qualified Zambian professionals for a range of positions across its regional offices. One key opening is the Manager – Information & Communication Technology, responsible for leading the Authority’s digital transformation and green IT initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement digital platforms that support HEA’s strategic functions while prioritising sustainable software engineering.
• Develop and maintain the ICT strategy, eco‑friendly projects and related policies, standards and security protocols.
• Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations, provide technical support and supervise the IT team.
• Manage ICT projects with a focus on data security, system integration, regulatory compliance and environmental sustainability.

Required profile

• Zambian nationality with ZAQA‑validated qualifications relevant to the advertised position.
• Up‑to‑date Curriculum Vitae and a cover letter stating the position applied for.
