Art Intern – Creative Studio Support

About the role

The Art Intern will join LanTive Art Limited’s creative team in Lusaka, supporting the development and execution of visual concepts across various media. This on‑site internship offers hands‑on experience in painting, mixed‑media projects, and graphic layout creation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing visual concepts for internal and external projects.
• Prepare art materials, presentations, mood boards, and reference collections.
• Support painting, mixed‑media, and graphic layout tasks for communications.
• Help organize the studio, maintain project documentation, and manage assets.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and production staff and participate in team meetings.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in visual art and painting, with interest in contemporary and lifestyle‑focused work.
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Portfolio showcasing artistic creativity, technique, and visual sense.
• Ability to follow creative direction, accept feedback, and work collaboratively.
• Attention to detail, good time‑management, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced studio.

Required skills

• Proficiency with graphics and basic design tools.
• Interest or experience in art direction, concept development, mood boards, and visual storytelling.
• Appreciation for music and its integration with visual arts and entertainment.
