About the role
The Business Development Manager (DSD) will lead regional growth for Epiroc in Zambia by delivering exceptional value to mining customers. The role focuses on commercial and operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction and effective sales execution while supporting digital transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Champion safety, health, sustainability and Epiroc’s 2030 goals, including diversity targets.
- Lead agile organisational development to build a future‑proof, customer‑centric culture with strong talent pipelines.
- Coach sales teams through competence mapping and provide best‑in‑class technical and application support.
- Own regional P&L, pipeline management, pricing strategy and budget optimisation.
- Develop and execute agile digital‑solutions strategies aligned with evolving market needs.
- Drive automation and digital project delivery, ensuring accountability, KPIs and customer‑focused deployment.
- Contribute to divisional initiatives such as CRM rollout, framework agreements and strategic projects.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in mining‑related industries with knowledge of software‑based business models.
- Proven track record driving digital development for complex global B2B organisations.
- Strong business acumen, experience managing costs, budgets and bringing products to market.
- Experience with SaaS solutions and a history of growing business in related sectors.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and foster collaboration across the ONE Epiroc culture.
