Business Development Manager DSD

About the role

Epiroc Zambia is seeking a Business Development Manager (DSD) to accelerate regional growth by delivering digital solutions to mining customers. The role focuses on commercial excellence, customer satisfaction and the seamless integration of digital sales, delivery and support.

Key responsibilities

• Drive regional revenue growth and own the P&L for the Digital Solutions division.
• Develop and execute agile digital‑solution strategies aligned with market needs.
• Lead agile organisational development, fostering a customer‑centric culture and strong talent pipelines.
• Coach sales teams on technical and application support, ensuring best‑in‑class service.
• Manage pipeline, pricing strategy and budget optimisation.
• Oversee automation and digital project delivery, tracking KPIs and customer outcomes.
• Contribute to divisional initiatives such as CRM rollout, framework agreements and strategic projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in mining‑related industries.
• Strong knowledge of software‑related business models for the mining sector.
• Proven track record driving digital development in complex global B2B organisations.
• High business acumen with experience managing costs, budgets and market validation.
• Experience bringing SaaS products to market is highly preferred.
