Climate Action Internship – ESG & Grant Writing

About the role

CASDA, a Zambian NGO focused on climate action and sustainable development, is offering a six‑month remote internship. The role provides hands‑on training in ESG frameworks, climate‑smart project development, and grant proposal writing, supporting the organization’s growth and visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing climate‑related projects and initiatives.
• Support the preparation and submission of grant proposals.
• Learn and apply ESG assessment tools under senior staff guidance.
• Contribute to research and documentation of project outcomes.
• Participate in occasional in‑person meetings as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 school leaver, recent graduate, or early‑career professional interested in climate change and sustainable development.
• Passionate, committed, and eager to learn.
• Access to a laptop and stable internet connection.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
