Desktop Support Engineer – Onsite (Lusaka & Konkola, Zambia)

About the role

Zensar is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide on‑site and remote desk‑side assistance across its Lusaka, CopperTech and Nampundwe locations. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality support to all users, with priority service for executive and VIP staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system and connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, browsers and approved business applications.
• Perform password resets, account unlocks and basic Active Directory user tasks.
• Deliver priority support for executives, including boardroom, telepresence and video‑conferencing facilities.
• Coordinate IMACD (Installation, Move, Add, Change, Disposal) activities for IT equipment.
• Maintain accurate asset and inventory records.

Required profile

• Experience delivering Level 1/Level 2 desktop support in a corporate environment.
• Ability to work on‑site and provide remote assistance as needed.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with executive users.
• Attention to detail in asset management and documentation.
