Head of ICT & Senior IT Investigations Officer – Anti-Corruption Commission

About the role

The Anti-Corruption Commission of Zambia is recruiting senior professionals to lead its information technology function and to strengthen its digital investigative capacity. The Head of ICT will oversee the delivery, security and maintenance of all ICT hardware, software and network services, while the Senior Investigations Officer (IT) will manage digital forensic investigations and support the Commission’s investigative tools.

Key responsibilities

• Head of ICT: Install, configure, upgrade and maintain ICT hardware and software to meet user needs.
• Head of ICT: Ensure ICT system security, develop disaster recovery plans and provide first‑line help‑desk support.
• Head of ICT: Conduct capacity‑building training for end‑users and align ICT specifications with institutional policies.
• Senior Investigations Officer (IT): Supervise digital forensic investigations, including collection, preservation, extraction, decryption and analysis of electronic evidence.
• Senior Investigations Officer (IT): Administer investigation software applications and provide technical support for investigative tools.
• Senior Investigations Officer (IT): Produce reports in line with Commission guidelines and ensure evidence integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Licensed member of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience, with at least two years in a management role (Head of ICT) or senior investigative role (Senior Officer).
• Age between 38 and 44 years for the Head of ICT position.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
