Kitchen Supervisor

About the role

Educore Services is looking for a motivated Kitchen Supervisor to join the team at either Sentinel Kabitaka or Trident College Boarding. This full‑time position will start on or before 1 June 2026 and involves overseeing all kitchen activities, ensuring food quality, safety, and efficient service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate staff schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies and monitor stock levels.
• Assist cooks and kitchen assistants during peak periods.
• Plan and execute upcoming events and special meals.
• Maintain high standards of meal quality and presentation.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Certificate or Diploma in Food Production or Health and Safety.
• Supervisory experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Valid food handlers’ certificate at the time of appointment.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
